I'm selling my boat!

It's a 2009 Pyranha Burn Medium - Yellow/Jaffa.
It's less than a year old and in very good condition.
It will come with air bags and all the fittings, both footplates, pads, Pyranha sponge and even the connect 30 instructions and user manual.
Anyone that knows me will know it's been very well looked after. It has been cleaned out after every use and kept in my garage. With the exception of a few scratches on the bottom it's as good as new.

£500 ono. If you know anyone who might be interested please let them know.

Thanks

It says this has been read 43 times, but no one has posted any interest, is £600 too much? Do you think ebay is a good place to sell a boat or should I put it on UK rivers guide and kayaking forums only?

£600 is alot of money for a second hand boat IMO, the forums are ussually the best place unless you've been stuck with it. You will sell it on ebay, but will be a gamble!

OK, I'll reduce the asking price to £550 ono. If I can't get enough for it I will have to keep it for a bit longer as it will cost me too much to change. I know it's a lot for a second hand boat but it really is in great shape, I would even go so far as to say it's in better condition than the demo 2010 boat I tried at the charity paddle.

Sorry Craig yes I think it is, I can buy a new boat for 650, why would I buy a second hand one for 600?

Boats depreciate like anything. You may get that price on UKRGB though, put it up with a nearest offer.

Remember those 43 people might be the same folk looking at replies, if 2 people looked at this 22 times it would still say 44.

Ebay it when you really cant sell. It will sell, put it up with a price or nearest offer make sure there are photos and be patient . Burns sell like hotcakes but at the right price.

Demo boats get abused big time. Private boats get looked after more.

Thanks Phil, I wasn't sure when I put the first post up if that was a reasonable amount, I guess I was hopefull. I didn't realise the new 2009 model boats were discounted so much.  Shocked

I'll stick it up on UKRGB and see what happens.

Yeh its a bugger! You pay all that money for a new boat and are lucky to get even half it back. I sold my Ammo after only 9 months and didnt even get half back. Had only been on the water half a dozen times.

I'm not saying it wont sell for that but I personnally would'nt pay that much. As I said get it on UKRGB with the nearest offer and see. Can always lower the price if it doesnt go.

Oh no, this is getting worse. I wont be able to give it away soon. lol

I might have to think about raising cash by selling other things. I have a nice framed signed pic I could auction off.  Wink

Craig, I don't like seeing you worried so if it helps I may take it off your hands when you are ready to give it away but please make it sooner rather than later Kiss
